To be fair, I barely squeak into that 20%, the cutoff being like $115,000 a year. I live in one of the most expensive places in the world, though, so most of my income goes to cost of living, womp womp. I have a roof over my head and food on my table, so I’m fine, but I’m really not doing as well as I should be all things considered. I massively sympathize for those that aren’t as fortunate as me though. The whole system is bullshit.

My wife and I together pull roughly the same. We’re basically living month to month. We’re tightening the belt, and still aren’t really able to save, always seems to be random very expensive things popping up that needs delt with immediately. Any time we get ahead a bit we get fucked with needing to replace the roof or the like. Treading water is what it feels like.

“The Elite” on the right only used as a dogwhistle, usually means “person with college or university education”, and at worst outright means “Jew” (liberally applied, since the far-right likes to take away people’s Gentile cards).

My heart goes out to all the good people that are going to suffer too, who have to share a country with people that threw them under the bus and sold them out for cheaper eggs that we all knew weren’t going to happen.

Edit: it would be nice if you could repurpose deleted comments when you change your mind about replying, seeing as that ‘deleted by creator’ now hangs around forever anyway.

This is a power demonstration by Trump. This is a way to show that he is in charge. This is nothing new, every tyrant government wants to the keep their wealthiest citizens in check.

This looks very alike the earliest days of Putin in Russia.

Man, don’t you know? The law ain’t made to help earthy cats like us. Here on our planet, back in the old days – back in the real old days – it was just every man for himself, scrooblin’ and scrat-scrotlin’ for the good stuff, the greenest valleys and scrat-scroblin’. And the strongest, meanest men got the best stuff. They got the green valleys and were like “The rest of you, y’all scrats get sand.” And that’s when they made the laws, you see. Once the strong guys got it how they liked it, they said “This is fair now. This is the law.” Once they were winning, they changed the rules up.

No, elites are the blue-haired bike courier who lives with a roommate, has no savings and only houseplants as dependents and looks down on Real Americans like you and the people in the picture.

Thousands of hours? That would be one person over like 2 decades easy. That would be NOTHING. The scale is so far off you can not even grasp it.

each one billion dollars would be 20 million hours at (to make the math easy for those in red states) $50 an hour.
