    Are you stressed or anxious? Dogs often pick up your background mood better than you do yourself.

      Yep! But it’s getting better. Now they’ve found sticks and are happily chewing on them and chasing each other. “New” place (though not really new).

    Probably because they associate you with being fed. And if you cease to be able to do that they are not sure how they’re going to get food.

        Hell I mean you got to remember they’re pack animals and usually in a pack, there are some relatively clearly defined rules. If you supply the pack with food they obviously are concerned for your well-being because without you they don’t get fed.
