11·6 months agoIf you can’t stop in your sight distance, you are driving too fast. Doesn’t matter what the maximum speed is. There’s no excusing this.
The whining on facebook about how cyclists should be banned whenever something like this happens does my head in. If you can’t stop your car within sight distance, you are driving too fast. Doesn’t matter if it’s a cyclist or a tree across the road. Slow down!
OP, when the body is taken into account you have positioned this post essentially as a leading question/rage bait. AskLemmy is intended for genuinely open-ended, thought provoking questions. For example, “What might be some viable alternatives to prison/policing”. Please update your question to be less leading and more open-ended and thought provoking.
