No way will Robinson be seen in court. Very high chance he will get suicided for the sake of the agenda.

“Regardless of the horrible actions that took place we must take this moment to remember that God is a living and loving God who loves all his children,” a Discord post from another friend posted the day after the shooting reads. “While Charlie Kirk’s politics were not acceptable to some l ask that we all say a prayer for him and his family during these confusing times.”

“The last message is religious in nature which just goes to show the apolitical nature of the server, we all have pretty differing views on politics,” the friend said of the discord post.

Religion is not apolitical im afraid. Praying for Nazis is not apolitical either.

True, but apolitical is also used as a euphemism for centrist or right-wing by the neoliberal media outlets. This euphemism is very misleading as ignorant ‘independent’ people hide behind it to mask the actual harm their views will cause. People like Manchin for example aren’t apolitical or centrist. They are right-wing with a more presentable public persona.

Manchin and other politicians like him are essentially the fall guys for when the party doesn’t actually want a bill or action to pass. Manchin, for example, voted against confirming a new member of the national labor relations board in the last days of Biden’s term. He in effect sided against workers by refusing to appoint a new member to the board to uphold workers rights.

This made it easier for Trump to come along and further gut the board that is responsible for enforcing workers rights. You also get the same thing occasionally with ‘libertarians’ on dating apps who are also usually right-wing putting on a more respectable persona.

Yeah, this Tyler Robinson guy, from these messages comes off as a “kinda normal Gen Z kid” to me. Trying to assign a political alignment to any of those messages seems like a huge stretch. Facts never get in the way of a rightwing narrative though.

Regardless they will form their own narrative. They will use this to put down the trans minority. Facist always have to have an enemy within. Illegals are in process. Now they moved on to trans folk. Who is next?

    Guy seems pretty uh…

Pretty apolitical? Like the extent of his political commentary is a basic discussion on the function of the electoral college?

We’ve seen it in a lot of cases of stochastic terrorism. People end up attacking a symbol that causes them distress. It can be a post office, a school, a politician, or a gay nightclub.

The problem for conservatives now is that acceptable targets have changed to senior executives and conservative commentators. What used to either be an acceptable loss or a tool of fear is now a potential existential threat that they can’t quite get back control of.

As long as it ain’t the school, we good.

Regime whores are actually part of the culture wars, so when they get wacked nobody cares.

It never made sense why we have so many school shootings at least from rational perspective.

The picture was pretty unclear from the get go, so i was sceptical to believe anyones side of the story. This could totally be fake too and we will probably never know, because law enforcement can not be believed at all.

Personally i dont see why people on the left wanted to push the shooter into the right wing so much, because if he killed Kirk for being a nazi then whats the problem? Trump and Patel would have blamed the left either way so just own that shit already. Why do people hype Luigi but not this guy?

I imagine it’s the whole precipice we’re on: the kid being left or right tips and we do something. That the kid is (understandably) complicated keeps up the balancing act.

I think seeing the actual video of the shooting up close means people are forced to accept it as real in a way that text or pictures do not force. I would also say people are in general more familiar with Kirk as a celebrity than a random healthcare CEO. Even though Kirk was a CEO too, who caused real harm, he was a lot less influential in economic terms. Perhaps it points to people caring about protecting their mental model of the world than seeing the reality of the situation.

I don’t get that impression from all the bits and pieces, and especially not from this breakdown. I think he’s rather intelligent (probably the smartest guy in the room most of his life considering the demographics he was surrounded by) and he really thought he was going to get away with it.

Which if he hadn’t have cracked emotionally, been turned in by his own parents, and his lover wasn’t squealing like a pig, he might have. People really underestimate how incompetent cops are (although he arguably did a ton of dumb things like use his own vehicle, use a unique family heirloom rifle, etc.)

I don’t condone what he did, I just am appalled by the absolute lack of loyalty from the people surrounding him. Just horrid…Now he gets to live long enough to watch everyone he trusted throw him to the wolves to be torn to shreds and humiliated on a global stage. Which many will agree that in itself is justice served, having that knife in the back and twisted. Good social lesson for society. Loyalty to State and fear of authority above all else.
