OP are you the oldest lemmy user or is this taken from somewhere? Genuinely curious, because you just made your account too.

Just reply that you can reply by mail immediately but can only do a call much later/next day. They will choose speed most of the time ime.
There are no trustworthy companies… The whole point of a company is to act in its own best interest. If they can sell you something that they can later utilize to extract money from you, then they will do it.
What if Prusa implemented RFID roll identification?
Yes of course. Any machine that has DRM on it and has the ability to kill itself when its company demands, is a piece of worthless junk.
Its the start of exactly the kind of thing that inkjet printers are doing with DRM in their cartridges.
I use quiterss on my linux desktop. Its already in the repos on debian and works great for me. I have extremely minimalistic requirements tho, so might not be for you if you want a shiny UI. It has tagging, custom keyword filtering, folders, notifications. All i need.
I remember youtube creators recommending other creators small channels and stuff like that. I want that back.
Xcancel has never not worked afaik. There is a dedicated firefox plugin to redirect too. Either they are paying for API access or they are scraping.
The moment they start rolling out any closed or paid features and the immediate reaction of the community isnt forking the entire protocol, i will ditch matrix. Ive become very trigger happy with this stuff.
Im pretty sure matrix.org data has been and will be sharing data with law enforcement. Even if you use encryption, they collect loads of metadata. With smaller servers it depends on local jurisdiction i guess.
Not what you asked for but if you are using uBlock Origin then you can go to
Settings > Filter lists > Import
and paste this URL into the Import field https://gitflic.ru/project/magnolia1234/bypass-paywalls-clean-filters/blob/raw?file=bpc-paywall-filter.txt (The repo has been bullied off official gitlab and github multiple times thats why its there now)
This is just a set of rules for blocking the code for paywalls on lots of websites including the one this article is on.
Once you hit apply it should look something like this
Sounds like an interesting life :D Thanks for sharing
