    This is the very core of what it means to be elite: the deeply-held, unshakable belief that the pain of peasants means less than nothing, while their own slightest inconveniences represent a immoral toppling of the natural order, demanding immediate, drastic action. They live in a world high in the clouds, where consequences can never reach them, and the only universe that makes sense to them is one where they are untouchable. But of course…

    I’m sure some of the maga hats saying kill the homeless would change their tune if they became homeless. No empathy. No ability or willingness to think about other perspectives. They are, simply, stupid.

      Yeah I was surprised at first about all the crazy right wing homeless people I interacted with. Surely I thought it was just a grift. Nope some people just vote against what is specifically going to be life and death for them.
