The gist of it, as I understand it, is that Nepal, which was already being accused of decades of corruption, tried to institute a ban on social media, which led to protests where police killed a number of protesters, which led to bigger protests that culminated in the prime minister’s house being burnt down and him resigning.
They literally overthrow the government, the police was useless and kicked the financial minister down the streets and burned down multiple houses the country had fallen until the military stepped in and took over (they claim they won’t keep power 🤷♂️)
