So glad I switched to AM5 on my last main gaming rig rebuild last year lol
Not to doubt that it’s politically motivated, but the ban law as written could be applied to any app with a country of origin on the US “Foreign Adversary” list AND declared to be a national security issue
iGPUs suck ass, better than they’ve been in the past, but for gaming they’re still just what you use while you wait to get a dGPU

Yes and no, it’s true it can get similar distance and somewhat similar data speeds as a cell tower
But, at 900MHz you don’t need a license to run it so you can do cool things, like a community WiFi mesh kinda like meshtastic, but with real speeds where hosting mesh-only websites and services become realistic
