I think we can very comfortably say that party leadership is shitty and center or center right in both parties. They are too comfortable in their cushy information-is-power jobs which keeps them rich. They do not care about what the party or their voters want.
This comes off as so unhinged. They didn’t say a general statement like “both parties are the same”. Obviously they’re not, though much of the time their goals do align in some way. They said something specific, and true. This reactive need to defend the Democratic Party is ridiculous to me, they have enabled and voted for many bad and harmful things, they often do not understand or represent the interests of their constituents, they have plenty of money, they do not need you to stand in front of imaginary bullets for them. The way left is not through the Democratic Party. I know we don’t have a good option yet but I can tell people are ready for it.
