while my platform spans many issues, I view most of my job as a US Senator as to do two things: one, to ban billionaires buying elections; two, to dismantle the “billionaire economy”, in favor of an economy that works for the American worker, for small business, for the vast majority of Americans. I will be a Senator for all those who can’t buy Senators.
Sounds like a legit progressive to me, anti-establishment and populist in the good way. I like his platform and I hope all of this attention does him more good than harm. Hard to be bothered by decades old tattoos when there are congresspeople with actual swastikas in their office.
the problem is no one can really know what his stance is because it’s not beneath a person to lie to gain power. seems too risky and an easy way to end up with another Sinema/Fetterman type that blocks votes while claiming to be a Democrat/Progressive. i don’t think now is the time to take chances and they need to find a better candidate to run while there still some time, because even if he’s telling the truth this will be a non-starter for many voters.
That’s a good point and a valid concern. I know I’ll be doing more research into him and seeing what he has to say. I’ll also look into his record of the work he’s done in his hometown, if he’s in local town government there will be public documents and meeting minutes that show how he handles governance.
After seeing the media blitz about the tattoo I decided to check out his website
