My DNS software blocked a redirect attack by Kerala, a left wing Democratic party of INDIA, now this is odd. It happened when using the pie fed app interstellar. So maybe this is something connected to the app itself, however, I was logged into Lemmy.
Just a warning. They have a Wikipedia that goes into detail about who they are as a political group. I’m adding them to my “list” and will be keeping a closer eye on them and their members now.
That’s not a real website tho, and if they were hacking people, why would they redirect to a website that has their name as the link?
Rebinding has a lot of false positives, but are you sure you didn’t just click on someone’s typo that became a hyperlink?
I’ve noticed Lemmy more than elsewhere likes to make things hyperlinks.
But… That kind of also brings up how you said Lemmy in the headline, and piefed in the post, like, which one are you even talking about? Even then, there’s dozens of instances on both, but you also say it was thru an app?
Isn’t the app the most likely culprit?
Like, there’s lots of things off about this, without getting into why you’re capitalize all the letters in India or that you literally have a “list”…
