    • “When?” > “Then!”
      • Rather than the alternative
    • Cause and effect
      • When deciding which to use for a verb:
        • Effect causes an entire result; “A discarded cigarette effected the forest fire”
        • Affect alters part of the result; “Human behaviors affect climate change.”
