US Senator Lindsay Graham has just tweeted an article titled “Greta Thunberg sets sail with Gaza flotilla that aims to break Israeli naval blockade,” adding the comment, “Hope Greta and her friends can swim!”
Australian Zionist think tanker Arsen Ostrovsky somehow outdid Graham, tweeting “Oh look, the little jihadi Greta Thunberg is trying to get into Gaza, to show solidarity with Hamas. It would be so sad if something were to happen to her flotilla…”
There’s not a lot that can shock me about Israel and its supporters these days. But if you’d traveled back in time a few years ago it would be hard to explain to someone how we got to a timeline that includes Israel supporters openly advocating the assassination of Greta Thunberg.
It’s pretty funny that everyone’s response to this is apathy and meming. We’re so cooked

Nothing, western culture is now all-in on doomscrolling and bigotry
I mean, sure there are things that COULD be done, like education changes and punishing openly brazen criminals who are pushing abhorrent ideologies on social media, but all of that costs money and doesn’t make any rich people even richer, so they’ll never be implemented
So, when do you grab a gun? When yhe internet is locked down? Goes down? When your neigh ors are taken? When high tide gets your carpets wet? When you can’t find a strong enough air conditioner? When theres no more food? When they come for you in the small hours of the morning? When pornhub pulls out of your region? When yhe crematorium makes everything you own smell like human ash?
When do you stand up? You dont have to know the answer yet, but think about it.
I know you think everyone in the world is as apathetic and useless as you and your friends are but I’ve been out at protests nearly every week since February

Protesting is fundamentally the act of making your desires known. It’s communicative. Fascists don’t like communication. They certainly don’t respect it.
