I remember trying the first VR headset game 1990 that ran on a Commodore Amiga in like 7 fps and was terrible in every way.
Hello. I’ve been silenced, removed and blocked enough on lemmy dot ml for being a filthy leftist but not a falling in line defending totalitarian states full blown authoritarian communist. Sooo I’m blocking everything from lemmy dot ml so I don’t have to be bothered with any more of that nonsense. If you are on lemmy dot ml and commenting on me I will not see it. Ta ta.

Back in the day scanners were not the table model that is obsolete today but were drum scanners or hand scanners of which the latter was a hammerhead mouse with a horizontal optical sensor and regular computer mice used balls for tracking.
Xennial here. I’m glad to stay out of this manufactured generational conflict drama.
I’ve been called boomer and merrily laugh in the face of the kids that think they are just as clever that I thought I was in their age.

Back in the nineties I was told off that Windows users are fanatical to their OS by a girl with one single sticker on her bicycle and it was the Apple logo.
We worked in the same music studio with exclusively Apple computers and my money job was administration of an office with mixed Windows and Linux and BSD environment.
I never had problems with either OS but I did have problems with Apple hardware being 2-3x the price for performance back in the days when performance mattered.
I dunno if she mistook some single mouse button banter as something personal or what. Needless to say she didn’t take it well when I laughed it off and told her I don’t decorate anything with neither penguins or the Windows logo.
The finale of Martyrscome to mind.

lemmy.ml is good to avoid not only for political reasons but people that are nuts enough to defend genocide for countries they have on their team are not to be trusted with much anything else either. Users are cultists that politicise, brigade and harass and community mods on lemmy.ml adopt old school Soviet style silencing of thoughts and discussion other than the state approved.
Before you are making assumptions, I’m a leftie and have been for longer than most of the users there have been alive, but I’m not an authoritarian communist so apparently my thoughts are dangerous for the believers to hear.
Wherever you have your account you can block other instances and everything from selected domain names. My Fediverse experience is so much better after consequently filtering out everything lemmy.ml on every account and instance I’m on and I’d recommend it for everybody.

And build a submarine of them.

Suggestion: Describe and moderate it for fine arts or it will be flooded with furry drawings and fanart.

Definitely not but I’m not American.
Please do not mutilate your child because of tradition.
I would agree completely. But you know when kids have discovered politics they are righteous and annoying as fuck for a while until they gain other perspectives and learn to humble down. I know i was one back when the dinosaurs roamed.

My dog. Him being happy makes me happy.
That every day is punch a nazi day.
I’ve been banned from a number of subreddit for this radical violent propaganda of mine.

Well, you don’t wear shoes indoors in any of the Nordic countries.
We have pineapple and banana and kebab and salad on pizza¹. Apparently it is considered weird.
¹ not the same pizza, obviously. That would be weird.
Jag växte upp i Stockholm och där var det straight edgare på konserter.
It was an international thing but there was a very big sXe scene in Umeå. If you’re into 1990s punk and hardcore you may be familiar with Refused.

People that listen to hardcore that abstain from drugs and alcohol and commonly also from eating meat. They were easily recognizable by having painted a large sXe with a marker on their hand and maybe some additional letters on top and bottom for their particular flavour of Straight Edge. Here in Sweden they were quite common amongst punk rockers from the mid eighties up to late nineties.

Mon dieu. Non.
Hon hon hon.
I think that’s the same game I queued up for like 90 mins at a computer fair to have a few minutes of very confused playtime and that was it.
