Maybe it wasn’t murder. Maybe it was just an accident. There were probably lots of guns on campus, after all open carry is legal on campus’ in UT, as I understand. Let’s not prejudge the guy, he deserved a fair trial.

I’m a gardener, and focus first and foremost on building soil, through composting and using aerated compost teas. I plant and maintain areas that are supportive of wild pollinators. I ride my bike or walk to most places I need to go. And I drive an EV, which is mostly powered from the solar panels on my roof. Yes, this was a significant expense to do so. I eat a diet that is primarily vegetarian. I’ve been doing all of these things and more for most of my life.

I favor grumbling to my representatives, tho’ they are pretty much on the same page as me, thankfully.

I’ve seen hats / hoodies with bright LEDs in non-visible frequencies for blocking facial recognition.

I was checking my weather app, and they fed me an ad for something that I didn’t even know what it was, so I went to the website, clicked around a bunch, just so they thought I was interested. All Praise be to VPN! Sometimes reinforcing a mis-impression is the best thing one can do.
