    One person standing on the street obviously doesn’t matter much, but it’s about being the change you’d wish to see. Boycotts don’t really work either. Doesn’t mean you should buy a Tesla.

        Effectiveness of boycotts is measured by how much media coverage they get. Because the 1% dent in their sales is usually not enough to stop a successful business. The media coverage coverage used to be the main way this worked. There are probably some internet era examples too. I hope. I can’t think of any, but I assume.
