Of course, I lived in South Asia for quite a long while and I have very strong feelings regarding the culture and how it treats women. If a woman is with a man who is imposing rules on her because of his religion, then I’m of the opinion she shouldn’t be with that man. I find insecure husbands to be unimpressive in general and cultures that encourage their insecurity to be tragically patriarchal.
