I got a call about a kitten hiding in a 30 foot lomy drainage pipe.

I had to borrow some tools from an auto shop across the street and it took an hour but I got a little bugger out.

Within 15 minutes they handed off to one of our local fosters to the great disappointment of my wife who decided she wanted to keep it

the moment she saw it.

    This kid was on remarkably good condition but after getting him I was already set to deworm it because all feral cats have issues.

    I wished I had had a fire hose but a block down the road from this task was every fire engine and ambulance within 5 miles responding to something that wasn’t my business unless I got a call from a CERT team leader. But I really wanted their fire hose. It would have saved me a lot of time and we always keep a pet towel in the car because we never know what is going to happen.

    I got this call while taking pictures of a round bail storage area for an art reference. We went from there to the cat in less than 15 minutes.
