A friend sent me this link of someone’s awesome custom laptop project. It’s not all 3d printed, but the story of the device’s creation is inspiring and informative.
I think it may be about time I laid my hands on some different nozzle sizes for my printer. Recommendations for good sources of 0.15mm nozzles in the UK?
It’s a neat idea for something which is going to be used primarily for web browsing and word processing. It’s using an ARM Cortex CPU with up to 16GB of memory. It should run most popular flavors of Linux, there are ARM64 packages for LibreOffice and FireFox, so the basics are covered. All in all, a fun idea for a minimal system.
E3D makes pretty decent stuff and is based out of the UK- it’s just annoying and expensive to get ahold of everywhere else (insert generic grumbles about Revo nozzles). Otherwise, I’ve had good luck with Phaetus nozzles, but I’m not sure that pricing/ availability looks like in the UK.
Second both, the phaetus nozzles are what I grabbed a bunch of when I was stocking up a few sizes of coated steel and brass nozzles, e3d are way pricier but the nozzle x and obxidian nozzles are really nice, hold up really well
Thanks for the tip! Will check them out.
That’s cool as shit. I’m on the framework but this is next level. BTW if anyone knows where u could get a larger track pad for a fw16 lmk.
This is next next level, lol. DIY battery, BMS, getting the display to work, custom mainboard, etc.
