dad. single phase? really?
Its ok, its not a real pole can anyway. The labeling is intact and there’s not a hint of rust.
just be happy it’s had the PCBs washed out. yeesh
Hahaha like you can wash out PCBs
tell you what a little dish detergent and the ol power washer that kid’ll only grow one, maybe two extra limbs.
ElectroBoom: “Finally someone who understands me”!
I’ve always wondered what it looks like when a child realizes that one day, they’ll be able to drop their parent(s) off at a retirement home and drive off into the sunset.
Since my kids great grandfather and grandfather were both linemen they would have both been excited to go as a transformer.
It’s so well made too!
no dad I assure this care home really is the best place for your health
Daddy works for pg&e huh
bojler eladó?
This is AI slop. Or AI edited at least.
Cable to the left of the kid’s head doesn’t actually connect to anything.
It was posted 4 years ago on reddit. Not AI. It wasn’t anywhere near this good back then.
I can confirm, this is a pretty old picture. Also, all connections are clearly visible, I don’t even know what the comment is referring to.
OK, but I’m still not clear on why that wire loop doesn’t connect to anything.
Which one are you referring to? It all appears connected to me.
The ones right to the left of the kid’s head
The one closest to the head is attached to a white tower like the one on the right, it’s just obscured by her head. The black one is attached to the side of the costume. The black wire is connected to both.
But it does. There’s a post similar to the one to the right of her head that’s mostly behind her head on the left side.
It connects to the service line and the loop to the center tap enables split phase residential service. But you do realize this is a costume made of foam, that just models the real thing right?
Slop deez nuts
I mean, it might be, but the cable could be stiff, so this isn’t a good tell. I think the era of being able to reliably call AI slop is over.
