You’re ignoring the fact that Trump tried to cancel all of Musk’s contracts. He failed because of contract law, but he did try.

The newest contract had been in the works for months, which also makes it very hard to cancel.

Also you’re ignoring the fact that both men are raging narcissists, and those types will turn on each other in a heartbeat.

I have the displeasure of understanding narcissists. The key lesson is that they don’t actually have friends. Just people they find useful.

They also hold grudges and will eagerly self sabotage if they think it will hurt someone they’re mad at.

That said, Musk is currently trying to dethrone Trump using Trump’s pedo rapist ties to Epstein. That’s an actual weak point that Musk would not touch if this was all theater.

When was that? When did he try? I remember him making a tweet. Don’t remember any executive orders being signed. Don’t remember any lawsuits having to take place. When did he try?

Mostly it was all done through White House council. The lawyers looked at the contracts, and then staffers looked to see if anyone else could fulfill the contract and found that Musk had fired any in house competition and there was no corporate competition capable of delivering the same service.

Expect more attempts in the future, because a narcissist never actually forgets a slight against them, but Trump is currently distracted by the fact that everyone is correctly calling him a child rapist.

So the same as with help to Ukraine, just a pure theatre.

When he actually wants something, he just does it, like stopping aid in critical time.

So nothing actual then. They claimed they looked at the legal possibilities and couldn’t do anything. The Trump White House. The White House who’s been doing illegal actions for the past 8 months. Who just does things and left the law decide later and then ignores it half the time even then. No actual action by the way they just say they looked at it. We just have to take them at their word. The ever honest Trump White House says they looked at something.

Can’t imagine why I thought this could all be performative.

If the two men had ever shown any self control at all, I’d believe it performative. But neither has ever shown anything even resembling self control.

All either man has shown the world, is ego. Textbook narcissism. For decades.

Trump has been feuding with a writer from Mad Magazine since the 80s due to the writer calling Trump a “Short fingered vulgarians”.

This is the reason why trump keeps claiming he has normal sized hands. Because he doesn’t understand the insult.

Well then it’s amazing how much self control they’re actually showing isn’t it? No actual action just tweets. No releasing files no, filing of lawsuits, no canceling contracts, no executive orders, no busting down of doors and seizing of documents nothing. You claim they don’t have self control, yet your entire argument is based upon them apparently having amazing self control. Instead of the obvious it being an act. It being theater and distraction like they both do every damn day of their lives.
