Condescension is bad enough when you’re an expert, but when you think yourself the only smart person because you’re not as dumb as the dumbest people on earth, it’s just laughable.

I can understand your point just fine and I struggle to see why the analogy is needed except to distort the truth into some fantasy world where getting killed by a gun and getting killed by a knife are just such an obvious choice
Getting killed immediately or having more time to work against the fucked situation would seem an obvious choice to me, but what do I know? I think that LGBT folk shouldn’t go to death camps even if it means holding hands with the liberal plurality of this fucking coutnry for an election, that basically makes me Hillary Clinton, or whatever the Very Serious Leftist line of the day is. If I was a True Leftist™, I would’ve symbolically stood aside for the fascists to put LGBT folk in camps. That’s the only TRUE left praxis, after all.
