First it imposed major tax penalties on anyone who couldn’t afford Healthcare, secondly the ACA plans put them in competition with other corporate insurance plans and often cost the same, about the only materially good thing the ACA did was get rid of pre-existing denial clauses.
Oh yes the $8,000 to simulate the Housing Industry offered first time home buyers during the Obama administration. What a wonderful temporary reform. Too bad it doesn’t help anybody today. Kind of interesting that the Democrats wouldn’t do this again during the Biden Administration when housing needed to be stimulated 🤷.
You know what my favorite part of proposals are? How there’s no material actions that come from these and just how ineffective they are at actually changing things you know since people ignore proposals all the time.
