Wish it were. I have my son here, and I could not bear it if I were to leave him. His mom would never allow for him to come with me, and I would not want to take him away from her. He’ll be 18 next year, so it would be his choice, but again I could not do that to her or make him choose.
I had really hoped that seeing everything going on might cause westerners to actually question the “white, western = good, democratic vs non-white, foreign = bad, autocratic” framing of western propaganda.
I would say come over to the UK, but it’s the next worse place in the democratic world.
Might be worth leaving for Canada, as I’ve heard many have done. Not sure if that’s in any way realistic at all for you though.
