I take your point that dehumanization by itself is a tiny part of what the Nazis did, it isn’t unique to them, and that the surrounding power dynamics are important. My comment was a “quick, slightly snarky” reply 😉
I do think that dehumanization is a dangerous tactic because, while it might have been a small part of the Nazi regime’s actions, it seems like it was crucial in order for them to get social & moral licence for a lot of the rest of their actions (as happened during the development of racism, and is now happening against migrants).
And, while recognizing that not every Zionist is Jewish, the amount of antisemitism that still exists (and the sad number of people who just swap out “jews” for “zionists” to get cover to keep pushing the same antisemitic conspiracy theories) does seem to add up to a bit of “vulnerability” as you put it, which seems to add to the danger of dehumanization.
Any evidence that either is gay or are you just taking your homophobia out for a walk?
