Sailfish OS is really nice, but only available for select Sony Xperia phones officially. Also native apps are few in number, but when I used it there was enough for basic needs - really good navigation app, ok Matrix and Telegram, official email app was excellent, the browser was workable. I think I got an Android parking app working too. But this was a while ago.

Since getting my first fragile smartphone (HTC Hero, 2009) I’ve zero phone drops on my soul. Guess the question is why drop phones? Daddy buys new one?

Finland gets May Day fairs in cities - mostly cheap tinsel junk, masks and helium balloons for kids. Students in higher education are mandated to begin boozing morbidly around a week prior and carry on for at least a couple of weeks after. ‘Wabu ei lopu’ = May Day never ends. Communists put on parades. Families make mead and doughnuts. As a kid I thought it as the best festival of the year, I’d always get the noisiest party horn at the fair.
