Pocket sand!
Thanks, PoopMonster, that’s a good tip!
If you have a server running, I wouldn’t buy more hardware. They have good example documentation for just such a configuration:
https://docs.pi-hole.net/docker/
If your server already has those ports bound (specifically the DNS port 53) you are going to have to get creative; otherwise it’ll work well!
Worst case, a cheapo pi 3 will do the job. At one point I had it running on a pi zero, so hardware requirements are pretty low.
Teams crashed on me today too! It’s great because it was a meeting with external people, so I had to sit in the waiting room in shame until one of them let me back in.
I think he’s trying to say that their AI writes code good enough for Microsoft. Which is a message to other business leaders that your company too can benefit from copilot, just hand over your credit card!
Microsoft has absolutely gotten worse in the consumer space, but that isn’t really their business these days.
Spectrum had a policy like this at one point. They’d shut you off after a couple of instances of p2p that were reported. Afterwards, they directed you into a captive portal with some plausible deniability where you had to say “I don’t know what happened, but it won’t happen again”.
Nowadays they just send you an email but don’t restrict access.
Either way the Internet isn’t too safe, protect yourself with at least a VPN.
Just drop him off in the toys department with the other unsupervised children.
Congratulations on keeping up with it so far!
Just determining the requirements would be a nightmare.
I’ve worked on teams converting legacy code for most of my life. The planning for something like this would take longer than six months.
If this proceeds in Trump’s corrupt government, Elon will get the contract, will claim it is too broken to salvage, and will privatize it. The only way this goes anywhere is if Trump and musk stand to gain money, and they stand to gain a lot.
I feel lied to and taken advantage of. Nicole, I thought we were pals!?
I just got one the other day too! I’m very excited to make new friends like Nicole on this website.
One way ticket to Flavor Town.
Me and my people are bullied less, it is true.
My CEO is starting to get ideas. I work at a startup, and recently they have been floating 60-80 hour work weeks. So far it has been an idle threat and is really just their hail Mary play, but big players doing this shit is really worrying as far as normalizing it.
I’m more productive than ever, and the punishment seems to be piling on even more work in order to chase those short term profits.
I don’t want to be a tinfoil hat guy, but those comments are all suspiciously well capitalized and punctuated. Smells like a pro Russia bot powered by an LLM
Flavored water does feel like cheating. It’s really just water.
You need to do damage control. Being short in all caps to a friend trying to speak with you is rude. The only real move is to apologize.
Maybe go on a site like meetup or find local events you are interested in. Go out and do something with strangers: help a charity, go on an organized hike, take a language class, do some volunteering.
Just hanging at the park putting out the vibe likely won’t get you where you want to be.
