When your drink cup has a bunch of ice, it’s easier to drink from with a straw.
One extremely far-fetched reason for using straws I’ve heard is that it’s somehow more hygienic than putting your mouth on restaurant cups.

It’s something I’m becoming conscious about as well.
A big step for me has been getting rid of Amazon Prime. Initially I was paying for it myself, then I started mooching off of my roommate’s subscription, but I’ve moved out now and don’t have access to it. It drastically reduces the impulse to purchase something, knowing that it’ll take a while to arrive.
Those before and after shots were jaw dropping.
I ended up going with the Flashforge Adventurer 5M for ~$175 https://slickdeals.net/f/18590524-flashforge-adventurer-5m-wi-fi-3d-printer-w-auto-leveling-167-20-free-shipping (You can get 20-60% back from certain cashback websites like TopCashback or Capital One Shopping if you are comfortable with using them.)
You can 3D print an enclosure for the 5M after purchasing an enclosure kit for ~$40 online.
There’s also the 5M Pro model for ~$100 more that comes pre-built with an enclosure for sound dampening and printing with materials like ABS. It also comes with a camera and an extra nozzle. I didn’t go for it cause of the higher upfront cost, plus I don’t expect to print outside of PLA and PETG.
Dammit.
Fixed. Thank you!

Have you tried it? How has your experience been?

Crack an egg without touching it and getting any on your fingers.

Thanks for sharing this. Was wondering where it was on my Pixel 9.
:O
I learned it in some science-y educational TV show from when I was a kid. It’s never failed me.
Found another video with more info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrizFz-bgX0
With cans you tap on the top a few times before opening them so that the fizz doesn’t come bursting out. Is there a similar trick for bottles?
Files will now actually be up in the cloud.
13,300 km (8,264 mi) away from “spawn point”, ~14,000 km from “home”.
This was terrific. Thanks for sharing.
