So…how did you become turkeys most successful furry escort, Mr. Kazuk?
It’s a long story. [throws away his cigarette and puts wolf masks on] Let’s get this over with.

All crappy IoT devices ever made. They aren’t used in bot nets all the time because hackers like the challenge of hacking them so much. Security simply isn’t a priority.
This an open letter to Argentina? These are dark times we’re living in, Argentina. Make your flag sad.
Look at this entry for the NZ flag referendum entry from 2015. That’s a modern flag design fitting of our current times.

I was once at a wedding on an island so pretty much all guests traveled there and stayed in the same few buildings. A teenager ended up having chickenpox and it caused a shitload of problems. Yes, the kid weathered it fine but it’s a lot more dangerous for adults and that meant quarantining anyone who showed any symptoms. Great fun.
I asked the mom why they didn’t vaccinate and she said “Oh you always hear all them bad things about those vaccines, you know.”
Alright Billy, if you punch your sister one more time you’re going to the jerk hut and if the men who’re in there to jerk it molest you that’ll be on you!
Ye know, a goon cave.

This has nothing to do with children. It’s a proposal by technologically inept people who argue that encryption needs to be removed but encryption is so basic that it isn’t really feasible to do so. You can make the access harder but that is only an issue for your average joe. Individuals with criminal energy who this is supposed to be about will continue to encrypt their communication while regular users will give up their privacy.
There’s the aspect of rearranging knowledge but also the distress that lies in dealing with difficult aspects of reality. Right now many people deny human caused climate change because if they didn’t they’d see themselves confronted with a bunch of uncomfortable changes and difficult problems.
It’s not just “oh, this thing I believed to be true is actually untrue” but also “ahhh now I have to deal with a bunch of overwhelming issues and the stress that comes with that”

And “go kick cocks”.

So many posts on on social media are obviously AI generated and it immediately makes me disregard them but I’m worried about later stages when people make an effort to mask it. Prompt it to generate text without giveaways like dashes. Have intentional mistakes or a general lack of proper structure and punctuation in there and it will be incredibly hard to tell.

The last 5% aren’t a nice bonus. They are everything. A 95% self driving car won’t do. Giving me random hallucinations when I try to look up important information won’t do either even if it just happens 1 out of 20 times. That one time could really screw me so I can’t trust it.
Currently AI companies have no idea how to get there yet they sell the promise of it. Next year, bro. Just one more datacenter, bro.

Are you trying to trick tech companies into being useful? That’ll upset them.

I like the course the french have taken when it comes to energy. They recycle their nuclear waste despite the high cost. They invest in batteries. In the short term it costs them more but long term they have an independant powersupply. Meanwhile germany will probably be back to suckling russian gas the moment the war ends.

If I lost my job in IT now I legitimately would rather retrain to become a plumber. Less shit to deal with than going through recruitment.
It’s coming right at us!
Tylenol probably gives brain worms a rash or something like that.

The man said become ungovernable!

Put it in spiders and then put yourself in those spiders for cool powers.
I’m a sys admin in the public sector and the hardware requirements of W11 are a great blessing. I couldn’t have convinced thousands of workers to switch to Linux and get used to another GUI but this forces it on us because there simply is no money to replace all that hardware. Rolling out Mint clients and between this and mobile operating systems Microsoft is finally losing its monopoly on the OS market.
It was baaa-aaaa-aaaad
