I love that guy , he is so interesting to watch and his video on “colour” brown is my most rewatched video of his … the passion he has while talking about the most mundane stuff in our world is the best attention keeper imo

Sadly i have to be there as its the best place to get news about the place im living in , our newspapers work for our govenment and other channels are usually controlled opposition … reddit is the most trustworthy (its so ironic to tell you that but it is)

Yeah , agree 100% … great man theory of history rly pisses me off , plus the whole “capitalism is best without regulations” bullshit , people forgot the first gilded age and the fight of the unions to give people some semblance of decency in the workplace

Fuck reddit , its becoming weird being on there … its feels off , like you’re in an uncanny valley not knowing if you are taljing to a bot , a person or a troll

Libertarian socialism with democracy in the workplace woud be a better alterantive that libertarian capitalism … we’re just stuck in the end of history way of thinking that people cant grasp life without capitalism

Or get shot , libertairanism slides into feudal/oligarchical structure if left unchecked

Smoking , oil industry and clinate change , sugar industry and fat … its a bit of capitalism problem imo

Couple centuries of propaganda and pseudoscience does that to people

There are good things about china , there are bad things about china … people focus on one or the other to suit(idk how to spell) their ideological needs.

PRC did improve the life of average ham chinese by leaps and bounds starting from 1990s onwards , but it does supress minorities , arrest for going against the party line , supress unions and strikes , but also invests in green energy , does massive projects to better the life of the average citisen , has rly invested into a lot of public things like rail , city pollution etc.

So can we agree that everything is a shade of gray and if someone wants to move to china out of their volition let them , but that person also needs to be aware how life there really is.
