Anyone that collects your data could use it for many legal and illegal activities. If you see it only as marketing, you are not imagining the possibilities of stolen identity, fraud, blackmail, etc.
Why stop there? Let’s restrict based on color and religion too! And when hate crimes follow, they deserve it, right?
It’s similar but different, but I grabbed an original legion go used for $550 and it’s the best money I’ve spent on tech.

What I liked about tape and CD, is that it wasn’t too difficult to write/record. Before mp3s and filesharing, you could still make a copy, or a mixtape (playlist).
The main strength that physical media has, is that it is completely offline, it is physically at hand, and it can be obscure stuff you will never find online.
