We will sell no wine before it’s time.
How about any 25 year olds who are desperate for a quick buck? /s
Not gonna lie, I wept a little for my own life reading that.
Do you know a willing 25 year old?
All contradiction is reconciled above the abyss, hence why spiritual visions can sometimes appear horrible at face value.
Wait, what kind of esoteric did you mean?
I’d literally suck the youth out of 25 year olds like a vampire to be 25 again.
Have you seen him in Good Time? One of my favorite movies ever.
What’s wrong with hookers and coke?
Yes, it’s so embarrassing to have an MD and get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars while only working a 9-5 schedule. Gastroenterologists have it hard. /s
Not everything has to be taken so seriously. I feel like people look for reasons to be offended these days rather than assuming positive intent and trying to be a good sport.
Saddam Hussein should take note.
That’s true. I just appreciate that he seems to do a bit more than Musk to at least keep the appearance of giving back. This still doesn’t get him off the guillotine list.
That’s true, but to be fair, if he pulls it off it will be one hell of an example to set.
Yeah, with respect, I think you’re painting with a broad brush. Out of curiosity, are you old enough to remember a time before the internet? I can’t understate how complete the trance of reality was back then. It isn’t a coincidence that people used to fall in line with a different aesthetic for every decade—the media hypnotism was extreme and got us all to feel like these things were important. The second the internet provided exposure to any subculture you wanted regardless of what television was pushing, suddenly that conformity went out the window.
They taught the radicals that coming armed with flowers instead of guns was the right way to do it. The most famous leaders of the “resistance” taught non-violence to the point of self sacrifice as the only way to protest with honor. Anyone who went against that (Malcolm X) got pushed to the sidelines as a kook or a terrorist. There were no dissenting sources you could go to.
This approach has been passed down to younger generations as “the way it’s done”. Only recently has it been acceptable to seriously discuss violent resistance, and that is entirely a product of the internet making new input available combined with real fascism emerging.
For violent protest to work, you need numbers, and to get numbers, you have to convince a brainwashed populace that the ways we’ve been taught to resist are bullshit. That takes time and bridge building rather than blame. Leftists should be finding angry progressives and talking about the results that French protests can produce. Some of them will see the point.
Out of curiosity, how do you think things should be done that differs from “normal” people.
I’m someone who has been in therapy for years and seen several different professionals in that journey, and yet I keep getting told that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with me. As someone who is clinically “normal”, I look at people in power and can’t help but see unchecked mental illness everywhere. I don’t think most of those folks would go through the same questioning and come out clear.
As far as the people who vote for them, the last five generations have been exposed to the most advanced and insidious propaganda machines of all time. Each generation gets a little better at seeing it, but then something new comes along and they’re bamboozled again. Put simply, the human brain is not designed to ward off this much manipulation.
Yeah…that would be cool but…this country isn’t big on accountability.

I know you’re joking, but humans eating humans is how you get kuru disease. The only safe way to eat a person is to process them into Soylent Green first.
The video is amazing. That raccoon gets his pipe taken from him, only to whip out another one.
