This one is especially damning:
TikTok is spending $50,000 on an inauguration party honoring influencers who helped Donald Trump spread his campaign message, according to the party organizer — and it’s scheduled for Sunday, the deadline for the company to spin off from its China-based owner or be banned in the U.S.
CEO Shou Zi Chew is expected to attend.

No wonder why Trump wants to “save” TikTok. It has the stuff Republicans crave.
Just so you all know the New York Post is a Rupert Murdoch (same person who owns Fox News) rag. According to Wikipedia it wasn’t profitable from 1976 to 2022 perhaps even loosing up to $70 million a year. The reason why he ran it at a loss for so long is for influence. Prior to Murdoch’s acquisition the “Post was seen to have liberal tilt, supporting trade unions and social welfare”. Now it’s a conservative trash rag.
Please use another source if you can.
Protest quitting would require a large amount of people to do it at the same time. If only a few people quit it’s a net loss because then the percentage of bad people is higher.

Why I wrote it now: It started with the idea of bringing up things in your daily conversations you have that help make the world better which takes very little of your time but can spur good ideas and help advance good causes. Then I as I was thinking about what are some things one can say one of the things I realized is it’s important to ask everyone you know (who will care) about voting because Republicans are continuing to attack voting rights so we need to defend against that now by perhaps preparing documentation to pass whatever new legislation gets enacted. It’s a preemptive measure. Also I didn’t have an account here before the election. Of course if I had a time machine I would do everything I could to spread this message but I must focus on the future.
Also this for sure won’t be the last time I mention this. As local elections get closer I will try to bring this up again. I hope you’ll join me in reminding as many people as possible everywhere that it’s important to vote and to be prepared to vote ahead of time.
