Anyone doing leftist purity tests is usually where I start with far left. I can fully agree that America does not represent many real leftist views because there are not many real leftist in America. They are not a majority.
They do wonderful things in smaller towns where they are the majority. But yes, I agree with you. There are no real leftist in the US government and that’s pretty much by design because they’re not well represented in the general public.
Well that’s what I was trying to discuss with you, I do think I can rate them accurately. We may not agree on how I rate people because I am writing them in context of the voters around me.
The leftist in my local city are much different than the leftist in our national government. So yes the based local leftist who run food drives and do social workers are ‘real leftists’( leftist purity test or a leftist thing) the guys that talk Marx theory and run for local office. I know all types.
But in the American national government, there are few of those types. Because they do not represent a majority of Americans. They are the far left in this country. Nothing wrong with that. It’s just where the median is today in my interpretation.
I think its okay to own your place on the political compass. Some reason the far left and far right always imagine they are the center and thats how we get extremism and unpopular policies! Look around you, 330M americans. Lots of opinions. Where do your opinions land if we lined them all up between left and right. Nothing wrong with being a lefty. All opinions matter, not all should be forced on people.

I know all to well the cycle of drinking making work suck, work making you want to drink, wash and repeat. The end result is fat, sad, and physical addiction that makes your hands shake.
Yes I just wanted to add a meme to the meme. but if you wanted a psych anal: I think that someone who looks for inconvenience to drink, is probably frequently inconvenienced. They are already maladapted to negative stimulation, and instead of confronting that problem in a healthy manner, they are tricking themselves into thinking is therapy.
This isn’t a fun problem drinking meme, this is just a cry for help. There’s certainly a time and place for drinking, I usually think celebrating and spending time with loved ones. If you’re drinking because something upset you, you are creating a habit that even non-alchoholics will have a hard time kicking. It invites more misery into your life quickly. Medicine and a poison. They’re cutting critical services and allowing more executive overreach. We’re just gonna stand by all year and watch them strip us of all our resources and leave us with crippling debt. This is foreshadowing for the next round of cuts and taxbreaks.
Well usually when we’re talking about ‘democrats’ we’re talking about an American political party. And if we’re talking about American politics, i assume we are talking aout American politics, and assume their values. Not the French, or the Japanese.
