Gas station for fuel and snacks.
Someone should move that mole from his chin to his neck.
I’m also 100% sure if this gets enforced the way the administration is hoping, it will be used to target any political opposition to GOP policies.
And the targeting will start with MAGA people. You need a certain threshold of people and the right flashpoint to have a revolution. Because DoJ acting against someone “on the right” will incite fewer people to take up arms, it’s almost an anti-flashpoint and one step in normalizing this kind of targeting.
I mean, James Comey already. Plenty of people who aren’t fascists don’t like Comey, some of them are definitely going to be less enraged by his indictment, even if the indictment is total fascist bullshit.
Then they’ll haul in some loose cannon MAGA chode who’s gone and “shown hostility to traditional American values” and hold them up as an example of how they’re totally fair, and a bunch of left-leaning people are going to be okay with that, some of them will even cheer it on.
After that, then we’ll see the Republican party get purged of elected officials who aren’t “loyal” enough, definitely starting with people who are kind of universally hated. (Ted Cruz has been practicing fleeing to Mexico.) The seat will be filled in a “special election” that will certainly require heavy federal oversight to make absolutely sure it’s free and fair. Wink, wink.
If they feel they can expand control of the House, we’ll have midterm elections. If not, we won’t. Either way, it’ll be after that point that the opposition purge will pick up speed.
Drip. Drip. Drip.
There’s only so many different ways you can accomplish “people can post things for other people to see and respond to”.
I’m not saying you shouldn’t bring weapons to a protest. I am saying you should be aware of the potential consequences of doing so.
Many states make it illegal to bring any kind of weapon to a protest.

Their faces: “Ha ha! Serious threats to democracy are so funny!”
I’ll get my pikey.
First of all I am THE objective authority about eating mangoes and that is not up for debate thank you very much. As much is my goddamn birthright.
I thought, “Ha! That’s some very funny hyperbole right there!”
Then I read the rest of your comment. I no longer believe that your opening statement was inaccurate in any way.
For those not in the know, “Michigan Avenue from Millennium Park toward the Wrigley Building” is the north side, starting at about Randolph and heading south to the Loop. The Wrigley Building is just north of the river and Wacker Drive.
A reminder: Open carry is illegal in Illinois. If you see a gang of masked people walking down the street carrying rifles, call 911.
e: Finally finished reading the whole article. This is good journalism. This article does not mince words. Read it.
Body dysmorphia.
For early EVs, where the battery life is “relatively short” (think 100K miles), yes. But ICE engine life up until about the late 80s was around that, too. Now it’s more like 200K miles before a major engine repair costs more than it’s worth doing. EV batteries are getting to around the same 200K mile threshold, and while the battery replacement will be expensive, it’ll be the same “not wortht the cost, time to buy a new car” that a comparable ICE car would be.
