Yes, it is. Was my word choice poor? Probably, yeah. But I feel like my second comment clears that up. What I should have said was “this seems like it is about trying to honor her but it’s really not.” I apologize if my wording was confusing. In my head I was using “honor” as in honoring someone you respect and was not thinking of the actual official act of honoring someone in the military.

Of course it fucking is and that’s not what I’m saying. I’m saying that they are not honoring her in the sense that they don’t actually honor her as a person.

They’re not honoring her because they feel like she deserves it, they’re honoring her because it pisses you off and validates their fanboys.

This seems like they are trying to honor a traitor but it’s really not. They don’t give two shits about her or any of their followers. They’re just doing this to piss off everyone on the left while showing their followers that they will be honored if they do the same.

Already got it downloaded. It’s only like 100 - 150 gigabytes or something like that. Got it on my PC, my laptop, and my external hard drive. I don’t trust the powers that be to keep it intact anymore so I’d rather have my own copy, even if outdated.

I like how every company is pushing to replace programmers with AI yet it can’t even do the job of a receptionist.

Sounds to me like those fossil fuel companies are using those new subsidies from the Trump regime to bribe other companies into switching. And since most tech companies only think of short term profit they’re totally down to go with the option that gives them a discount. Tech companies get cheaper energy while the fossil fuel companies get to make more companies dependent on their product for longer. In the short term, these tech companies will make truckloads of money. But in the long term, not updating the infrastructure to the modern age and actually going backward will only doom them, especially on the global market.

I got a few things that have helped me figure things out.

1. Nobody has this shit figured out. We’re all just kids with jobs and responsibilities now.

2. The only people that care about how manly another man is are other men that wanna feel superior to you. It’s okay to want to feel manly if that’s what you want, but don’t do it for someone that probably didn’t like you to begin with. Why work so hard to earn the approval of someone you don’t like?

3. Men are just as emotional as women and the sooner you realize that the sooner you can start dealing with your emotions in a healthy way.

4. Don’t try and find people that fit the very specific definition of “friend” that you have in your head. Every friendship and relationship is unique and should be appreciated for what it is instead of what it isn’t.

5. Failure doesn’t mean that you are a failure. Try and figure out why you failed instead of focusing on the fact that you did fail. You learn a lot more about yourself from your failures than your success.

You know you do that have to watch the stuff he’s in, right? If you’re sick of him then stop paying attention to him and letting him live in your head. And as for the anxiety thing, kind of a dick move to just assume someone’s a creep just because physical touch helps with their anxiety. As someone that had anxiety, I may not relate one-to-one but I definitely get it.

That’s not what the data said back in March. I highly doubt it’s gotten better.

A lot of people I’ve seen online are acting like this is them trying to erase it completely. If they wanted to they wouldn’t just change a website. I’m not saying that they won’t, just that this is more about the suppression of information and that people should probably look this kinda shit up before it’s gone. Get yourself a copy of the constitution in one of those neat little books your teachers always had if need be.

All I’m saying is that people are acting like changing a website changes the laws of the US. And I think that we should all brush up on our rights before the resources online become unreliable. That way when they try and break the law you can say it loudly that what they are doing is illegal and call them out in front of everyone. The justice system has always been notorious for punishing those that don’t know their rights. It’s why they literally had to force cops to tell you your rights when they arrest you, which they are currently not doing. Protect yourself because nobody in the system will have your interests in mind.

They’re not deleting it to say it doesn’t exist, they’re deleting it to prevent people from looking up their rights.

Because I believe stick figures are of a higher quality than AI. An AI generated comic shows me that you cared so little about it that you couldn’t even draw stick figures. And this has nothing to do with effort, but artistic intent. It shows that whoever did it had no desire to inject themselves into the comic and would rather have it look generic and bland. Fidelity does not equal quality.

Just make a comic with stick figures. Cyanide and Happiness literally became famous for doing it and turned into a semi-refined art style. You don’t need AI if you got a good joke on your hands.

At this point I’m all in for the collapse of modern society just for the fact that governments around the world are ruining it. Like, is the convenience of technology really that worth it when it’s constantly being used against us?

At the end of the day, I’d rather read a newspaper than risk getting my identity stolen because I had to provide an ID to read an article about the war in Ukraine. And I’d rather write a letter or use a landline than risk my private messages getting leaked all over the internet because the government wanted a centralized database of all our messages.
