  • I think a parent should financially support their kids as long as they want to and are comfortable to. With the caveat that giving too much support can delay some kids from gaining financial independence. Personally what I plan on doing is “cutting off” my kids at 18 but giving generous financial gifts for birthdays and Christmas. And of course supporting them if they ask in times of need. Also if my kids work full time and live at home they will pay “rent” that I will put in a high yield savings then gift back to them as a down payment for their home when the time comes. We already sock away money each month in their college savings accounts so if I can save them those expenses I will be blessed as a parent

  • I think it’s a loss of talent and shuttering of shows across his company’s channels that are leading it. I can only watch so many “reporting verbatim the benchmark results of new tech product” or “I made my family a sleeper desk” or “dark horse home theater for my kid” videos. I’d much rather watch the highly produced “Mac Address” videos with Jonathan or retro gaming systems and setups videos with Anthony but they aren’t a part of LMG anymore.

Riley is doing well on tech linked but he’s talented enough to get a real job and after that, what’s the last interesting thing that LMG has? WAN show clips?

  • They can’t be happy. The whole platform is to take the country back to before all of society started conspiring against the poor republican voter.

The big lie is that the dog can never catch the car because it isn’t trans people or immigrants or minorities that are oppressing republicans. It’s their politicians, the corruption that is ingrained into the system, and the rich that fight to keep the system rigged that are oppressing them and clearly republicans will never fix that

  • The dichotomy between the left and right on these kind of issues are probably more economic than anything else.

The people I know that freaked out about these sort of things were typically maga types. Lower income, lower education, and relied on social media for all kinds of news, human contact, and such.

Meanwhile most liberals and conservatives that didn’t, lived more comfortably with higher career and education levels. This isn’t even really a left wing vs right wing kind of thing. Even the conservatives I knew that had higher education and career accomplishment freaked less out about Covid and social media “censorship” too because they could just do without.

If you can live comfortably and it doesn’t affect your living, you tend to not rock the boat
