The Crown is also some of the best TV and acting out there. Absolutely excellent drama based on the Elizabeth II’s years. It’s incredible. Best John Lithgow acting hands down.

Yep. His time in France specifically.

The keyboard is bugged and someone JUST caught it on slow mo changing the user input. It’s a wild bug and explains a lot because the iOS keyboard and autocorrect used to the gold standard. It was sooooo good pre-ML.
Wow that’s impressive! It really does look stock.

I haven’t met anyone that got high consistently (even tobacco) this didn’t apply to. You nailed it.

It’s not. It’s that the apps that use it have bad UIs and/or don’t support CarPlay. I haven’t found an alternative yet that was usable day to day.

I wish it were good enough to be a viable alternative but it really isn’t.

I haven’t listened to them but they do get reviewed well almost everywhere. They have more bass by default than I like and they dip a bit in the treble which I also don’t prefer (I like slightly bright and otherwise balanced sound).

And they’re quite a bit off for electronics. Rtings is WAY better.

Americas Test Kitchen also recommends the Cuisinart 14 cup food processor.
Gotta confirm. It’s built like a tank and bloody heavy. Wife has had one for over 15 years and it still works as well as it did when she first got it. It may as well be commercial grade. It may be expensive but you won’t ever have to buy another.

Not weird. My father was in defense before he retired (clearances and all that) and I still don’t know what he did and likely never will. I have a vague guess about it but don’t really know what projects he worked on or even the part of the industry he was involved in. No one in the family does.

Technically 1/4” jacks were first. 1/8” only to make 1/4” smaller.

Not NSA Van
It isn’t when you have an EV. I just had this conversation with my wife a few days ago. My EV is $22/mo in electricity with my commute. My old gas car was $150/mo at best. What the comic leaves out is the cost of insurance on the EV being about $150/mo and my old car was dirt cheap so it’s almost a wash. The EV is a hell of a lot more fun to drive though.

It doesn’t help that conpanies lie on their requirements in job postings. Even entry level retail jobs are asking for 2-3 years of retail experience. That’s just insulting to those with retail experience and an impossible “entry level” requirement. Leads people to just ignore any requirements.

If it’s not a GFCI or AFCI protected circuit then it has to be overcurrent or a bad breaker (they do stop being able to hold over time).
For overcurrent, something isn’t right with your PSU and it’s drawing more than 15 amps or 20 amps if yours is in the kitchen.
For a bad breaker, put your printer on a different circuit and see if it continues to trip. If not, swap the offending breaker out. Pretty safe to do yourself if you don’t touch the bus bar behind the breakers (otherwise it WILL kill you).

I’ve lived through the cell phone invention, to flip phones, to smartphones. They were terrible back then and I doubt that’s changed now.
Now, I do understand the reason why you moved back to one. For me, I just got aggressive about notifications and turned off most of them. I stopped social media tied to friends and family and am selective about what I’m on and for how long. Takes more personal willpower (or whatever) but you do get used to it in the long run and feel better.

I don’t agree with the premise of this article. When hunting and gathering the default is, “oh look, berries I can eat on a bush, let’s pick them or there’s a deer nearby, let’s shoot it with my bow and arrow.”
These are just … choices. The only difference now is the amount of choice we have. It’s overwhelming so we go back to what we know to move forward. That’s just simply the human condition. Don’t think too much into this.
Chief of War is fantastic. Historical drama based on Hawai’i’s timeline during the 1800s when the west found the island. It’s a bit brutal at times (especially the first episode) and it’s a lot of subtitles but it’s so well done. Jason Momoa’s best.
