  • Watching from here, It feels like, it got way worse

I mean when did a president last use executive order that aren’t in line with law? (Law is job of congress, not president and executive orders in theory must be based on law, else the executive should have not been valid.

Additionally, when did a president last kill a institution of the state ordered to exist by congress, by just taking away all resources, so that the institution has no way to work anymore, even tho the government has the job offering what those institutions did deliver by law.

Executive orders are not above the law. This seems not enforced anymore, and if I was American, I think that would have been the last push I needed.

Edit: forgot all these pardons of all those terrible people to seemingly build his own SS, now that they owe their liberty to trump
    Time is running out

  • Half the people meaning half of the absolute number of people who went voting, which is not true

Since each state votes for their members of the Electoral College, it could happen that, if you count each person who voted directly, you get no way near 50% voting for the president that gets elected

This voting system is stupid, the idea of a law to pardon people as president is even more stupid.

  • Still better than not voting at all. Would not give the same signal if republicans win with 40% of votes VS winning with more than 50% of votes.

Additionally, if the regular voting base for third parties grows, it exponentially makes more sense voting third party.
It is like driving backwards away from a really near wall where you parked sideways against it: you have to get just a bit closer to the wall with your nose, but as soon as the tail starts to get away from the wall, the distance grows exponentially faster over time.

I think best for US would be alternative conservative parties besides republicans.
