That requires lots of cropland though. Hydrogen can effectively be made by offshore wind farms etc.
It might work if we reduce standard fuel requirements for cars etc enough.

Electricity has been around that long too though, yet there are no serious electric passenger planes (with a decent range)
It has it’s flaws, but it may have a higher ceiling in terms of usefulness. They say they can make it work, which is more than I hear about electric planes for example.
We should be financially encouraging 0 carbon planes, without controlling how, then let the engineers work what tech to do it with.
What are the other 0 carbon flight options? They are all flawed.
We can engineer our way through flaws with enough effort though.
…then there should be regulatory actions to help make them viable
The only reason I want a limit that high is to be able to book a group holiday on it. (With people I trust to pay me back). So much less stressful (and lucrative if you have a rewards card)
You can hear to some level, the boats and actions in the vicinity of the cable. So it might provide evidence in case of a break.
It also lets you know if the cable is moving round on the seabed etc, this is useful as it can cause wear.
I seem to remember it being used to check the health of power cables too (they have fibre cables embedded within them)

My parents had their current house built - an awesome oak framed building. I got the frame design from the architects and turned it into a 3D printed jigsaw.
Each beam had a bit on the end that plugged into the relevant socket (with a little bku-tacto help in some cases)
I had done no 3d modeling previous to this, and practically none after. Took me months, awesome though!
Yeh, I see the edits
You seem to have made 3 posts?
Then you are using it for music and pay the full rate.
Ah, I was thinking more of a spinlaunch thing. Yours would make more sense, but would require a fuckton of industry in space or on the moon to have it work. I wonder how much more effective a self contained spinlaunch style thing would be on the moon.
You still need to fire an engine on the far side of your orbit though which makes it more difficult as it still needs to be able to propel itself (while surviving the acceleration)
Look for a square or an X (or a square with an X in it) right Infront of the stop line for the lights. If it’s there, that detects a car waiting.
There may be more of them further up the road to detect more cars waiting/arriving.
They are basically using big loops of wire to detect cars through magmatism.
They tend not to detect cyclists, so I often have to move to the side and wave cars forward so lights on side streets will change.
I consider temperature and fan controls to be safety critical for demisting windows etc for example.
I think the concern is that although it’s victimless, if it’s legal it could… Normalise (within certain circles) the practice. This might make the users more confident to do something that does create a victim.
Additionally, how do you tell if it’s really or generated? If AI does get better, how do you tell?
I wasn’t going to read the article until I read your comment. Wtf!
I was going to bring up the Herman miller Arron, but that released in 1994!
Webassemby is still limited to a single thread as far as I’m aware, so it’s not a full runtime for the language you are writing in as anything using threads behind the scenes tends to fall over unexpectedly at runtime.
Its also an absolute bastard to debug (young ecosystem)
