I wouldn’t exactly call pulling out of the climate accord, attempting to shut down NATO, getting chummy with the Taliban, getting chummy with Putin, getting chummy with Kim jong UN, pulling out of the Iran nuclear deal, backtracking on normalizing relations with Cuba, stacking the supreme court, etc etc etc ‘whatever direction things were already going’.
