Shouldn’t be a problem for me - I plan to skip DDR4 and go straight to DDR5, or maybe what comes after, at some point. Still running 32GB DDR3 here.

I know you’re having a joke, but Barron’s taller than either of them - he’s 6’7" or 6’9" depending on who you ask.
I don’t see how it can work because in general left leaning people have a brain and the form their own opinions. We’re not out looking for some hero daddy figure to tell us what to think.
Building propoganda to make the current democrats seem good isn’t the solution. The democrats actually need to be good. But, of course, that will never happen because it would mean dumping the billionaires and the Zionists. We’re fucked.
Me too, but only because I very strongly lean toward “god was created by man” rather than the other way around.
I totally agree, and I just switched from Windows to Linux for my desktop, but this isn’t on Microsoft - it’s sanctions on the ICC by the fascist regime running the country where they (Microsoft) are based in support of the fascist regime destroying Gaza. (I know I’m probably over simplifying it, but that’s my take on the article)
It’s a little different, but works. I was in business operations for the last 20 years and relatively proficient with Excel. I’m retired now but I’m treasurer for a small community non profit organization. I recently switched to Linux desktop and found Calc handled my sheets with pivots etc. just fine. About the only thing I’m missing is End-Arrow to move to the last populated cell in a row or column, but not missing it so much that I’ve tried to figure out how to do it in Calc - yet.
Yep - my mother is one of them - she won’t admit it directly, but it’s clear from some of the stuff she says.
It’s scary shit - I think there are three different “accelerationist” groups trying to destroy society as we know it. The christians waiting for the rapture, Curtis Yarvin’s tech bros that want to build their techno feudal cities and the extreme preppers that want to see some return on their investment. Have I missed anyone?
I’m Australian but don’t live there. It worries me how far right it’s getting. Australia being a very sporty place means transgender people in sport is a huge wedge that the Nazis can use. I’ve had to “disown” a bunch of family - including my mother, who I thought I learned my values from!
Yep - me too. I had to go to our “mainframe room” where we had our only Sun workstation - the only thing that would run the first versions.

Yep, it’s just evil to their own staff. It seems every time I have to call some call centre these days, when I finally get to a human the conversation starts something like “I’ve just spent 40 fucking minutes trying to get to talk to a person and I’m really pissed off. I know that’s not your fault and I apologise in advance if I struggle to contain my frustrations while we talk. Now…”
I prefer it the “Gulf of getting Associated Press to use it’s correct name so I’ll have an excuse to throw them out of the Whitehouse press pool”. Maybe I’m turning into a conspiracy theorist?
I’m open to suggestions for what else I can do. I’m already not buying anything made in the US.
I get what you’re saying but, as someone observing from outside, stuff like this is all I can do to resist.
Agree the editing looks good, but I don’t feel the template fits. I don’t think the orange one is capable of the realisation and self reflection depicted in the last panel.
It blows my mind that they need to do this with physical phones. I would have thought they could virtualise/emulate everything needed.
I’m not sure - I don’t measure it. It’s in my home server running Linux. It does everything I want and is >90% idle most of the time - so it’s fast enough. And I just realized I lied in my original comment - my laptop has DDR4 RAM, but it’s already at max. capacity so I won’t have to worry about buying more.
