If I like the Anime version of it enough, I’ll actually try Bb. I honestly never gave it a fair shot because of how controversial it was.
I forget, which movie was this from?
evil genocidal pedophile colony
I’m unfamiliar with what would make Israel a particularly pedophilic country. Can you explain that bit?
So I make cold brew in large batches (week supply at a time). I’ve struggled to find a burr grinder that can get me a consistent coarse grind in large enough quantity.
Do y’all have a recommendation for one that can help with this?
What about reusing the bag clip plus the twist and tuck method?
Yeah and at least they’re creator had a cool story.
Me too. That’s comparable to my dad’s old 4 cylinder Toyota Pickup (mid-80’s, so similar era). Smaller engine and wayyyy less power so I would’ve expected the pickup to get worse than the Delorean.
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I’d love to take that as a project vehicle.
Batteries for home setup (on TOU plan, so it’d be nice to charge when rates are low and discharge when high).
Then slap an combustion engine in there that just acts as a power plant for the electric motors. It’d probably be biting off more than I can chew, but it sounds like a hell of a learning opportunity and tickles my engineering/tinker brain’s fancy.
Of course, after blowing something up, I’d probably focus on dissecting the drive train and using them motors for something else. I’m suddenly curious what the suspension set up is like. If they’ve got some crazy high tech mag-ride system, I’ll bet that could be repurposed for another vehicle (pending Tesla proprietary protocols for connecting to ECU).
But now I’m rambling. The thoughts of what I could do with those parts though.
Ninjaedit: just took a look as some of the pondering above. I forgot how silly the interiors look, so def wouldn’t bother with attempting it as a project car.
I feel the same way. I find it near miraculous I didn’t fall into the trap that’s being sold to young men these days.
I’m hesitant to share too much of my own story, but it makes me feel real sympathy for the guys being ridiculed for following Tate and such. I know the leaders are garbage, but its hard to not feel attacked when I hear the general internet lashing out at the followers for being ensnared.
I know what its like to be young and dumb, to be told you have so much potential, but then to also feel direction-less and like a loser.
I know the leaders are charlatans that are selling snake oil…but I don’t know what to tell these guys to get them unhooked from that crowd.
Pretty sure i get the rest of it, but not sure I get the dog whistle behind 13 January. What’s the deal with that?
Yeah, I can’t believe anyone would suggest that Glorious Leader Trump, The Wise and Benevolent would be mistaken - or, heaven forbid, be lying - about the way economics works.
Lolwut?
I deleted my Facebook some years ago, and so don’t have the means to double check this. Is this for real?
I’ve got a bunch of them in my family, and yeah, I’d agree ~75% of the people who voted for Trump are die-hards who won’t listen to anything.
I’ve got a cousin, though, who admitted he bowed to the family pressure and voted Republican last year. He was telling me about how he didn’t think the Democrat platform on the economy was going to be good for him and his family esp since he has a kid on the way, and that he thought him and his would fair better with the Republicans at the helm. He also talked about how he was exhausted at the rhetoric “the left” was always using as a counterpoint to Trump - specifically that Trump is always called a Nazi - and that him and his (then) fiance did alright and that the country didn’t completely collapse under Trump’s first administration.
He’s in one of the swing states that went red this last cycle.
Its the small but movable part of the American populace like him that I hope to influence with data like this.
But you lose so many of them when you open with mocking the other side like they aren’t people; when you act like you’re so smart and the other side are bumbling apes barely capable of sentience; when you’re SO much smarter than them.
Maybe I’m the idiot, but from what I’ve seen, you don’t sway people by insisting you’re better than them. You do it by listening. And I’m seeing more centrist people swayed to the right because people on the right treat them like they’re real people. I hope to do that in the opposite direction. Whether its the correct move or not, I guess we’ll see in the next election.
Big thumbs up to this.
I’d love to share this article and analysis with some people, but I know their brains are going to shut down and ignore this info unless I mostly re-write it with less anti-Trump wording.
Point of further support: Hawaiians have a weird (to us haoles) love of Las Vegas, going as far as to call it “the Ninth Island”. I mean, if you live on a tropical paradise, where are you supposed to go for vacation?
And Elvis is (or at least has a rep as being) super popular and iconic in Vegas. I could definitely see some of that influence back flowing from the Ninth Island back to Hawaii.
As a former customer, I can’t help but wonder what their catch is.
