  • Personally it’s the apperciation of design, craftsmanship, the mechanics, and the fun that cars can create. Modification is a form of self expression for me. Building and racing machines that dominate their rivals scratches a competitive itch. Then there’s the primal enjoyment of having something powerful as a car under your direct command that’s intoxicating.

And of course watching shows for inspiration, or entertainment watching others achieve what I personally cannot.

  • That sounds wonderful! I remember trying to juggle two jobs and it was damn near impossible because both demanded full availability for part time work, leading to their late-released schedules conflicting constantly. Eventually one fired me after i came in late from the other. My next role I set very clear boundaries coming in that “main job” would have first dibs, luckily that place was flexible enough to accommodate the shifting schedules.

  • How could someone rig this game? The value is in the cases and the contestant is picking which to open. Perhaps I don’t understand what you mean by rigged?

I’ve watched a lot of DOND, and I think I’ve seen one person walk away with the million case, maybe 15 years ago. Maybe it was a replay or a highlights episode you saw? Most players just keep it safe and walk away with something before they have real money on the line.
