I know about this. But what you’re doing is different. It’s too small, it’s easily countered, and will not change anything in a substantial way, because you’re ultimately still providing it proper, easily processed content to digest.

Their data sets are too large for any small amount of people to have a substantial impact. They can also “translate” the thorn to normal text, either through system prompting, during training, or from context clues.
I applaude you trying. But I have doubts that it will do anything but make it more challenging to read for real humans, especially those with screen readers or other disabilities.
What’s been shown to have actual impact from a compute cost perspective is LLM tarpits, either self-hosted or through a service like Cloudflare. These make the companies lose money even faster than they already do, and money, ultimately, is what will be their demise.

Absolutely, and I didn’t mean to imply white rice was healthy or anything of the sort, or that you had an extremist take. I just think the lower class in the US has much more to worry about in this regard. You can definitely balance your carb intake, and as long as you’re aware of the amount of carbs you’re consuming and want white rice, I say go for it. You do need carbs to survive, after all, although carbs with fiber are obviously better suited for that.

I mean, it is true that white rice could be considered filler food with little nutritional value, but compared to other cheap foods (in the US anyway), it’s probably better for you. I suppose I’m talking primarily talking about the heavily processed foods with added sugars - it would be better to have something with white rice than those. Unfortunately cheap, heavily processed foods are what most lower income people eat in the US. I consider those foods the actual pre-diabetic junk food. I also think a lot of people in the US likely add a ton of sugar to their oatmeal.
I love oatmeal, though, don’t get me wrong. I have oodles of oats around, both in my pantry and with my other emergency supplies (I’m talking about a dozen #10 cans of just oats).

Up 1% for the day

I’m hearing that they left a stray " at the end in their signature, probably LLM for sure.

It’s not AI, that’s just their current excuse. They will just make remaining employees do more work for the same pay.

They’ve been running on that PR spin since 2023.

To each their own I suppose. CoMaps is great for me, and I’ve never used carplay.

and wasn’t an hacked android rom

If it’s missing data (such as locations) that is the issue, then you can update the map yourself and help others migrate at the same time. Every little bit helps, even if you don’t plan on fully moving over. I’ve done over a thousand changes to my local area and it’s actually more accurate than Google Maps in a lot of the commercial areas. You don’t have to do a thousand things though, like I said, every little bit helps.
Of course, it doesn’t help for outside of your area if you only do changes locally, but if enough people were willing to update the map, things could change.
I’ve gone to the taco bell nearest to me twice in the 6 or so years I’ve lived here. Both times, I waited at least an hour. One time in particular, I got stuck in the drive through for nearly 2. Their reviews over the years show things haven’t changed. I’m not sure why it takes that long to put the same four or five ingredients together, but the taco bell a bit further away doesn’t have this problem.

There’s one song that immediately makes me cry with the first lyric. I save it for just that occasion, when I know I need to get it out. It helps so much.

You did the right thing. In my opinion, that is a valid reason to ghost someone.

I use M-DISC (not all blu-rays are M-DISC) for backing up important documents.

You can probably blame the people selling 3d printed dragons and other slop at conventions for your sales drying up, assuming you don’t sell those. That fully made people think that 3d printing was a novelty, unfortunately.

He became a cop.

I doubt it. Even the article claims that there’s been no news about layoffs since July. No mentions from laid off engineers online either.
July isn’t “days before”, unless you’re really stretching “days”

Yes, especially if it’s your first distro and you haven’t learned habits from non immutable distros. Distrobox and flatpak cover most, and technically, you can install other stuff with rpm-ostree, at the cost of some space and longer update times the more you layer on.
If you’re talking about AWS, AWS does much more than just cloud storage.
