    Very few people are actually swing voters. Most people are born into a party and vote for that party their whole life. The idea of deciding who to vote for based on the issues is as foreign a concept to them as deciding which religion they like the best and joining it.

      Not when your grocery bills, rent, and everything else have tripled in just a few years. (But not your wages, of course.)

      That creates a lot of swing voters, and it’s how Donald was able to build his coalition in 2024. Harris’ policy position on it was “I won’t change anything.”

        People forget that turnout is a thing. To win an election you don’t have to convert the other party’s voters to your side, you just have to convince them to stay home when your voters are turning out to vote.

          Harris did an excellent job of that too, with the whole ‘I wouldn’t change a thing’ messaging, because of course Genocide Joe’s ego is the most important consideration when fascism’s on the ballot.

        You keep repeating this quote but you’re either misinformed or lying about the context. I’m not saying what she said had good optics, I am saying what she said isn’t what you’re claiming.
