A Twitter post by chescaleigh that reads “not even 24 hours later, and Mamdani has already taken down the Statue of Liberty and implemented Shakira law? this is NUTS!” The attached picture of a Shakira tinted in green hue dancing with a microphone with New York City in the background.
Where did he steal that 300 foot Shakira statue from? It’s already covered in an oxide layer, so it’s been out in the elements for a while.
I know this is not the point of this post, but I would have loved to have seen the Statue of Liberty without the oxidation. I actually like the green, but just seeing it copper colored would have been really cool.
