RATM was really good when i was growing up; i really enjoyed the music, and it felt like it made me a rebellious kid.
now that i am an adult, those old songs hit pretty hard; i love their music because its true.
Teen me: “Hell yeah! Yell loudly! Throw yourself around! Love this energy!”
Adult me: “Damn, he is actually furious for legitimate reasons, and I couldn’t agree more.”
If those boomers actually listened to the lyrics they would be pissed.
