This community is for discussion, reviews, and debate about Slavoj Žižek, and the Slovenian school of psychoanalytically informed philosophy.
Anything even remotely dialectical or insightful is beyond welcomed.
A few of the most commonly associated figures/thinkers:
Alain Badiou, Jacques-Alain Miller, Alenka Zupančič, Mladen Dolar, Éric Laurent, Boris Groys, Todd McGowan, Adrian Johnston, Quentin Meillassoux, Jean-Claude Milner, Krzysztof Ziarek, Rastko Močnik, Miran Božovič, Eva Bahovec, Zdravko Kobe, Rado Riha, Jelica Šumič Riha, Renata Salecl, Peter Klepec and pretty much anyone who’s engaged with Freud/Lacan, Hegel/Kant, or Adorno/Horkheimer/Chesterton/Schelling/Althusser/Laclau/Gramsci/Wittgenstein/Heidegger/…technically Deleuze too

It can seem like a specific area of interest to be sure, but Žižek spearheads a much wider influence of mainstream ideas than most would expect. If you stick around for a few posts, I’d wager you will soon be surprised at how familiar some of his concepts will feel to you. He is essentially a sellout at this point, but I will take all the luck I can get!🫡
