However both Israel and Trump do not have a very strong track record in keeping their promises so people are rather pessimistic about this only being a temporary genocide pause.
There is currently a temporary ceasefire deal for captive exchange in Gaza with Israel. Which will last 72 hours for now.
That said, Israel also has a ceasefire agreement with Lebanon which we can see they are not holding up.
